Growth plan / Perth, Western Australia
The short version. You do not have a filming problem. You have a repeat problem. Every job you take ends, and then you start looking again from zero.
Reps Media sells the same skill on a monthly plan, so their month starts full. Yours starts empty. That is the whole gap between you.
Four things below: what is broken, what they do, how to get clients, and what you should be selling instead.
None of this is about your camera work. Your work is the strongest thing you own. These are the things sitting around it.
Google Maps, business listings and website checked 6 Sep 2026 from Perth CBD. Instagram grid for @nazaara.co pulled 6 Sep 2026.
You named them as your competitor. They are sixth on Google Maps with 44 reviews. The difference is not the filming.
Their main offer is ten reels a month, three month minimum, all shot in one day. The client signs once and pays three times. You sell a brand film, priced per project, with no prices shown. They know what next month looks like. You do not.
Of their twelve most recent posts, seven were put up by other people who tagged them, mostly athletes from Hyrox Perth. Look at what those reached next to the ones they posted themselves.
| Who posted it | Views |
|---|---|
| An athlete they filmed | 8,150 |
| An athlete they filmed | 4,384 |
| Reps Media's own post | 1,694 |
| Your best reel | 1,114 |

They turned up at one Perth fitness event, filmed people mid race, and those people posted the footage and credited them. Thousands of Perth locals saw their name for the price of a weekend. You already do this at car meets and the Canning Show. You just do not ask for the tag.
Every Perth business that wants a proper company film, a founder story, something cinematic, gets turned away by them. That is the exact work you are best at, and they published it. You are not fighting them for the same job.
Same skill, same city. Different way of getting paid.
| Reps Media | Nazaara today | |

| Filming days per client | One day covers a whole month of content. | A full production every time you get paid. |
| Who spreads their name | Their clients and the people they film. | Nobody. You post the work and it stops there. |

Offer and FAQ read from repsmedia.com, review count from Google Maps, both 6 Sep 2026.
Ranked by what puts money in your account soonest, not by what sounds impressive.
| Where to go | First client in | What it costs | Worth |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email and call Perth clinics, real estate agents and marketing agencies | 2 to 4 weeks | 90 minutes a day | ▮▮▮▮▮ |
| Film local events, hand out the clips free, ask for the tag | 2 to 6 weeks | A weekend | ▮▮▮▮▮ |
| Be the video guy for web and marketing agencies, like you already are for Goalistic | 2 to 6 weeks | A lower day rate | ▮▮▮▮▮ |
| Google Business Profile and reviews | 6 to 12 weeks | Free, one afternoon | ▮▮▮▮▮ |
| Instagram, three posts a week | Slow on its own | Free | ▮▮▮▮▮ |
| Paying anyone a monthly fee for website SEO | 6 months and up | Money every month | Not yet |
Instagram sits in the middle of that list but it decides everything above it. When you email a dental clinic, the first thing they do is open your Instagram. If the last post is from May, you lost them before the call.
All of Perth searches for business video about 700 times a month once you strip out repeated wordings, and twenty studios already sit on those searches with 225 reviews at the top. Too small and too crowded to pay back a monthly fee. Google Ads is the same for now: one click on "videographer perth" costs $28.32, and ten clicks is nowhere near ten enquiries.
The free part is a different matter and you do not have it. A Google Business Profile takes an afternoon and it is the only way anyone appears on Maps. Do it this week and ask for reviews the same day.
Three ways to work with you, written on one page, with a price next to each. Set your own numbers. The structure is what matters.
| The offer | What it is | Why it earns its place |
|---|---|---|
| The brand film | One cinematic piece. Founder story, clinic tour, company film. | Your best work, and Reps Media publicly refuses to make these. Keep it, price it, but stop relying on it. |
| The content day | A half or full day on site. You leave with enough for a month of posts. | Easy first yes. Costs the client less than a film and gets them used to booking you. |
| The monthly plan the main one | One shoot day a month, an agreed number of edits delivered through the month, three month minimum. | This is the fix for the income swings. Same filming, booked ahead instead of chased. |
You already have The Smile Clinique and Little Bodies Therapy. None of the twenty studios on Google Maps specialises in clinics, and Reps Media aims at Perth business in general. A dental clinic that sees a dental video believes you more than one that sees a showreel. Write those two up, then email 30 clinics a week showing them work from their own industry.
Never leave an event without asking people to tag you. Never send a quote without the monthly option next to it. Never let two weeks pass without posting. Never finish a job without asking for the review.
